"The Jade Pipa Spirit" features an original design by the renowned "Guofeng" (Chinese-style) illustrator Shen Xin, jointly produced by Crazy Cube Studio and TKing Toys Studio.
This piece deeply fuses traditional Chinese culture with a modern, dark fantasy aesthetic. Through his highly dynamic ink-wash style, designer Shen Xin deconstructs and reimagines the classic demonic figure from Investiture of the Gods (Fengshen Yanyi), endowing the character with a unique aura—one that is both bewitchingly seductive and haughtily aloof.
The Pipa Spirit possesses a graceful, lithe figure; her pose is bold and imbued with a sense of raw power, while her body language radiates an eerie, supernatural vitality.
The massive pipa instrument is crafted from translucent resin designed to mimic the texture of jade—its surface possesses a soft, lustrous sheen, yet faintly radiates a chilling glint that stands in stark contrast to the pile of bleached bones forming the base.
